Event Page - Values not fetched from posts

Hi, I have installed Event Page and can see a list of my events, however, the event title is not fetched in the markup editor or on the event page itself, this is the same for custom fields. I have tried to follow the advice given on http://forum.ternstyle.us/discussion/39/event-page-markup-not-fetchin-value-from-custom-fields but unfortunately I get lost on what it is I am actually doing with the code.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
