Hi there
I have about 20 Youtube Video posts already in my blog; would like to install this plug in, activate for the the existing posts/videos (especially the thumbnail generator) AND have it set for future posts.
Not sure how to set it up for the existing video/blog posts?
any suggestions?

After activation there are 3 YouTube video specific fields available for any WordPress post. If you want to use this plugin exclusively in the future you'd have to fill out those fields for each post you've already created.
Also, once the plugin does the initial import you'll need to delete the duplicate posts it creates.
yes, I realized that I would have duplicate posts. The thing is, each existing post has TEXT/content along with the video, which I would lose when I import the videos using your plug in....correct??
SO: do I IMPORT my YouTube videos using your plugin, then DELETE THOSE videos? Then go into my EXISTING video posts and fill in the three fields at the bottom of the existing Posts? is that what you mean? if so, the existing videos ALREADY have those three fields filled in...

That is what I meant. However, I would do it differently. I would use my plugin to import the posts and then copy the content from the existing videos over to the freshly imported ones. This way everything is employing one solution.
The solution you just asked about is perfectly acceptable too.
