Wordpress Plugins•Youtube plugin posting multiple times

I have the youtube plugin installed on scottjorgensen.tv and when posting a video to youtube, it creates a new post on the site, but does it 3 or 4 times. Any ideas why this may be??

I am still working on this site- i'm pretty sure the dupes are coming from your plug in and not the one I use to post to twitter (twitter blog). I'm actually about to change that plug in but when we post other stuff through it, it doesn't post more than once...
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I just added your youtube user account to my comma separated list in my YouTube posts settings and 7 videos were imported. There were no duplicates. Do you see duplicates on the "Video Posts" page of the Youtube Posts menu?

I just had Scott upload another video to youtube... The video didn't post to his site although I made sure the plug in was still active... I'm so sorry to bug you with this- it's just weird!!

Tracy, the plugin only imports videos into Wordpress when an administrator logs in.

I am still having this problem- now with another site. www.dethrone.com
every time they post a video, it posts 8 times to the site. I haven't deleted them from there so you can see the issue... All help is appreciated!!

What version of Wordpress are you using?

You're using version 1.3 of the plugin? I can't seem to duplicate this issue.

It's happened to me now multiple times on 2 different websites....

I just plugged "scottjorgensen135" into my plugin's setting on my site which is running 2.9.2 and had no issues. It imported videos and created a single post for each video.

that's not where its doing it.. the initial download works fine. When they upload a video from the web to their you tube, the plugin posted it 8 times each to dethrone.com
I really like this plugin, I just can't have it sending stuff out on twitter 8 times each...

What do you mean by "upload a video from the web to their you tube"?

If they send a video from their phone to their youtube account, it doesn't seem to duplicate. But if they upload it from their computer through a browser it does.

Interesting. Can you send me the account(s) you're having trouble with? I'll take a look at the XML generated by YouTube and see if it's sending multiple items for each video.

dethroneroyalty is the one that's the most concern right now. The scottjorgensen135 one is also one that was problematic. I haven't tested it out on any others...

I just added the plug in to www.pictualize.net
In the initial download it more than once duplicated posts from you tube. Actually, duplicated it COUNTLESS times. I have left all of them on the site for you to see.

What other plugins are you using in conjunction with this one? What version of this plugin are you using?

that was when I upgraded to the newest version of the plug in. I'm so lucky that happened on my test site.

TracyLee, Can you track down the field tern_wp_youtube in your wp_options table and send me an email with the option_value?
