Wordpress Pluginsmembers list plugin not displaying correctly

  • 0 points-+

I have two issues, the first is that I have the image/avatar set to float:left and the info will not position to the right and the line height is huge which makes for too much space between lines of info. The second is that for some reason the search area is not displaying at all, however It may be something that i'm missing and thought I would ask anyway.

I have done a lot of troubleshooting regarding the first issue and finally tested it locally and it displays fine. So I thought it was a plugin conflict and I deactivated all plugins and still no luck. Also, in the source the anchor tag for the avatar displays twice, not sure if it affects anything but noticed it did not exist in your demo.

Any help would be appreciated thx

When editing your mark-up, wrap the information you wish to justify to the right of the avatar in <p> tags instead of <div> tags. You can read about editing mark-up here: http://wiki.ternstyle.us/index.php/Wordpress_Members_Plugin_Configuring_Mark-up

As far as the list not showing, did you read here: http://wiki.ternstyle.us/index.php/Wordpress_Members_Plugin_Implementation

Ok so I got my markup configured the way I want, however when I use the alpha and sort search options it returns nothing or does not sort the listings based on sort option selected.

Can you send me a link to your members page?

Thanks for getting back to me.

I figured it out, however I had to edit the tern_wp_members.php file. Within the search, alpha and searchby functions I changed some of your php code and got it working.

Now I'm just wondering if maybe the plugin is not working correctly with the most recent version of wordpress. Any thoughts as to why it wouldnt work after activating the plugin and adding the shortcode as instructed?

Not sure. I haven't had a chance to test it in 2.9.2 yet. Can you send me the lines you changed in the php file?

Just wondering if you might have some incite on a problem I am having. I am able to sort using the meta data and it has the correct count for the members but the actual members list doesn't show up? ideas?

    Dan,

This issue occurs when the user does not have a value associated with the field you're sorting by.
